Fort Erie Race Track & Slots is located roughly 20 minutes south of the Falls and straight across the river from Buffalo. The establishment has been recently refurbished and now features live thoroughbreds, simulcast racing, and over 1,000 slot machines that help make up the casino atmosphere. The race stands have a seating capacity of around 4,000, two gift shops, three reataurants and plenty of food vendors. The simulcast racing, intertrack betting and slots are open all year round from 11am to 2am.
