The Niagara Pumphouse Visual Centre is located in a Victorian building built in 1891 and was restored in 1994. This art centre located in the touristic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and it offers exhibitions by contemporary visual artists working in different media fields, it also offers educational programs and workshops for the young and old. There are even lectures, concerts and other public affairs that take place at this wonderful art centre all for free. Throughout the year the art centre helps sponsor tours including Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D Martin House and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Remember admission is free so there is no excuss to not stop by.
