Winter Festival of Lights - Niagara Falls
November 3, 2007 to January 7, 2008
Visitors during the holiday season are able to enjoy Canada's largest lights festival in the world's most famous address - Niagara Falls. Each night at 5:00 pm the Festival's lights ignite while the mighty Niagara Falls is illuminated into a fabulous winter wonderland of color and beauty.
This event runs from the beginning of November until the week just after the new year in January. The main area for the Winter Festival of Lights is known as the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland, a beautifully decorated five-kilometer route along the Niagara Parkway, adjacent to the Falls.
It includes nearly two million lights and over 125 lighting displays. There are also a series of concerts during this festival, as well as a 5K race and more! Admission to view the lights and displays is free but donations are gratefully accepted.
A wintertime visit to Niagara Falls during the Winter Festival of Lights has become a family tradition for over 1 million local residents and visitors from around the world. This year, we celebrate our silver anniversary and we invite you to rediscover the many events and attractions Niagara Falls and the Winter Festival of Lights have to offer.
During the Winter Festival of Lights enjoy spectacular fireworks as they explode high over the mighty falls. Enjoy them from the Table Rock Complex near the brink of the falls, from the comfort of your hotel room or visit one of the many restaurants found nearby.
