Do you dare to ride a cable car suspended 250 feet above the swirling waters of the Niagara Falls Gorge and whirlpool? One of the best up-close views of this natural phenomenon can be seen from the Whirlpool Aero Car, which travels between two different points of the Niagara River off Canadian Shores. As the car hangs from six sturdy cables, it offers a breathtaking view of the point where the rapids turn into a counter-clockwise whirlpool, which then rushes through the smallest channel of the gorge. The Whirlpool Aero Car has been operating since 1916 and functions safely over one of Niagara Fall’s most popular attractions!
